Columbus Day

To celebrate Columbus day the three of us went out to the desert and saw the Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument. Afterward we went to see the State Fish Hatchery where we saw fat trout and sturgeon (up to about 5 feet long) swimming around together. We also visited the Thousand Springs Preserve, a small oasis in the middle of the desert. We drove past Grandparents Stubbs house and saw the random house someone placed in the east pasture...

I also had to post a picture of Afton wearing the coat she received as a gift from 3 separate people in about 3 weeks. She loves the pockets in the front.

Hey! I love the blog layout...it is way cool! Sounds like a fun little outing! And, your little Afton sure is cute! ( love the banner picture too by the way!)

You are sure gettin' fancy with your blog. I miss seeing the scarred old sturgeons.
