Cenference Weekend

What a fun weekend we just had! It was so fun to focus all our time on family and conference. I was filled to the brim with quality family time, which is the best medicine ever. Seeing my parents, siblings, their spouses, and my niece and nephews all together is something that comes along only a few times a year anymore. It's worth the effort!
Afton played with Katherine the whole time. When she wasn't with her, she was asking where she was. When she wasn't asking where she was, she was sleeping. Yeah, they loved hanging out. Afton got exposed to some really great "girl" time. First she got to dress up in her Aunt Buff's cute stuff. Here's the outcome:

Then she got to go to the park for Parker's birthday. Happy 1st Park! He celebrated by eating wood chips. Yum.

The little girl climbers were fearless
until a headfirst dive and a serious shiner to prove it.
But it was nothing that a special princess bandaid couldn't sooth.

Speaking of princesses, the "dress-up as a princess" phase has begun!
I don't know whether to be happy or scared.

Ben had a great time hanging with his boy cousins. We all laughed that he is bigger than his 5 month old cousins. Here are some of the funny pics we took:

Overall there was a lot of conference watched, a lot of babies kissed, a lot of food eaten, a lot of good catching up, and a lot of tired adults! Thanks fam!

Looks like so much fun! Rylee is totally hitting the princess stage too! Wish you guys were still here and we could have princess playdates for them! So I think I've found the solution for Rylee getting out of bed! BRIBERY! We've started a sticker chart and everynight that she goes to bed without getting out of bed, stays in bed until "the sun comes in the window" then she gets 2 stickers on her chart. When she gets 20 stickers then she gets to pick out a toy at the dollar store! It's worked like a charm. Every nap and everynight before bed I remind her that she'll get to put a sticker on her chart when she gets up if she stays in bed. Give it a try, I figure a $1 store toy every other week is so worth a good nights sleep for me and an uninteruppted naptime too! Good luck!

Those boys look like triplets! How fun to have so many cousins to play with. It was great to see you. Maybe in April we can spend a little more quality Hermana time together...

Absolutely great news-coverage! Pics are great, too. Now if we could just get a bigger house, and have ALL the Stubbs gather, too.............
