Felt like I needed to do a little catching up with my siblings lately. I did get to see them all this past weekend, but I don't think I'll ever feel like I've completely caught up on what's going on in their lives. But I sure had a great time being with them.
I don't think I've ever taken a picture of just me and my brothers before. So here they are, three amazing men, all dads now, and they happen to be very accomplished and funny too. I'm lucky.
My sisters are equally amazing. Most people don't believe that we look like sisters, but in this photo I believe we've finally caught the resemblance. I can't say enough about my sisters. They ooze coolness that I pretty much have been trying to copy my whole life. Lucky again.
And finally a pic of me with my parents. I haven't taken one of these in too many years either. It's pretty perfect that my mom has a happy little smile on and my dad is looking lovingly at her.
On my trip to SLC, I also took the kids to temple square. Afton has really been into the idea that since she loves her dad, she wants to marry him. So I showed her where I married him. She pretty much has it all planned out now. One day I mentioned that when she gets to be a grown-up like me she'll probably fall in love with a man and want to marry him. She just looked at me like I was crazy and said to me slowly as if I wasn't understanding, "Um, but I'll already be married to DAD."
Look at these raga-muffin kids. They loved splashing in all the fountains and climbing on everything.
We were in town for my Grandma's 90th birthday party. It was so fun to see her and some of my cousins. I was reminded how lucky I am to have her around and feel the legacy of her life in action. She's awesome.
