We hit the MK Nature Center national bird migratory celebration for the third year in a row last weekend. The first year we stumbled on it as I was massively pregnant with Ben and Afton and Jared wanted to get out one morning. The next year we carried a sleeping baby Ben while Afton soaked it up. This year both kids were in heaven. They got stamps and stickers, their faces painted, held real birds, made their own binoculars, participated in some migrating bird olympics (we ended up getting "eaten" by cats) and got free stuff. Lovely!

One of those photos you just have to do:

On Mother's Day I was spoiled with Popeye's eggs for breakfast (most people call them German Pancakes, but my family is different... in a lot of ways). And I got a gorgeous hanging basket for the front porch. I got to teach in sharing time and sing in sacrament meeting too. Those were only "eh" compared to the spoiling me part. :)
The weather was nice so we took the kids to the Boise River to take a leisurely bike ride and throw rocks. Kid heaven again. They threw pounds and pounds of rocks into the river before we pried them away to get home. I love those kids. They are awesome.

Looks like so much fun! I love the little owl family:) I am also jealous of your sunny weather!
love the pictures. Ben looks so grown up with a backpack and binoculars. Hey they can come throw rocks out of my yard. I have tons and tons. Just don't have a river handy.
Oh fun! Isn't being a kid great? Throwing rocks is better than a roller coaster when you're little. The kids are so cute!
That picture of you and the kids as owls made me have some serious homesick for Abby feelings. Love you!
