We got to:
Make fun treats for neighbors
See Santa
Remember and learn more about the true celebration of Christmas
Do a live nativity (Ben just really wanted to be the baby Jesus even though we had a baby who could play the part)
Read Luke 2 (Afton showed her good writing skills)
Have fun decorating and learning more about the silly traditions of Christmas
Christmas morning we got to open some presents before we went to church
Then had fun opening more presents after church
We got to video chat with family and wish them all Merry Christmas (no picture, just imagine it)We also had some good friends over for dinner and the kids put on an art exhibit after as entertainment (Afton's idea)
Then we crashed in bed and all slept!All in all it was a wonderful Christmas time. We feel very blessed. I'm so tired from it all, I think I'll sleep until the end of the year.

Oh so cute--and I am impressed at your perfect cookies! I second the motion about sleeping...lots of sleeping. And I'd like Christmas decorations to put themselves away, please.

So Afton is seriously stunning. What a beauty she is! She just looks so grown up. I love all the cute food you did. You are such a good mama.
