The Floor

When we moved into our house, the floor in our family room was a little funny. No problem, we thought. It will be fine.
Three and a half years later, it wasn't really fine. There were definite sink spots and it was getting worse. Jared tried to get in the crawl space under the house to check out the problem, but there was no access to the room. So after much consulting, we decided we needed to rip up the carpet, check the floor issues, most likely put down a new floor, and put everything back again. Not the most glamorous project especially since we don't know much about construction n'such. Luckily our old and new home teachers are super good at this kind of stuff. They lent us an air compressor, man power, and lots of know-how. And Jared and I worked our butts off. In a short 36 hours our room went from this to this to this to thisand back to this again!
And we finally took a picture of our new car. Here he is newly washed by our slave labor.
And another random piece of news: tis the season of breaking things. Our Honda decided to die on me as I was driving to my temple recommend renewal interview (hmmm, fishy). Jared dropped his phone and shattered the screen. My phone has daily spasms of dying, then resurrecting, only to die again (currently dead). What is going on???!!!!???? I'm not excited to see what breaks next.

Wow! Come fix stuff at our house. Nice work, and sorry about the phones. I broke mine this week too.

Great job on the floor! It's probably nice to not feel like you will sink in! Bummer about the car and the phones!!! Satan thinks he can just stop you from going to the temple interview, huh? Well just go wreak havoc on someone else Ole Scratch!! You are messin' with the wrong people!

So impressed with the floor. Amazing!. Sorry about the phones and car thing. Things come in threes so maybe that is it for now. Hopefully
