It's beginning to look like Christmas!

December is such a fun month.  There are so many opportunities to do special things that you just don't get to do very often.  And doing it with little kids makes it much more fun.  The kiddos have been so giddy for Christmas that it has gotten me in the spirit.  We are trying to temper their Santa intake with daily reminders of the real meaning of Christmas.  It is a beautiful thing to see how openly spiritual they are in how they receive truth.  There is no doubt in their minds that Christ was born.  They are faithful and hopeful in his life mission and how it affects our eternal progression.
Our nightly reading on the couch is more fun with stockings hung!
We got a huge, beautiful, fragrant tree and had a great time letting the kids decorate it:

It finally snowed an inch (maybe) and the kids were out there in a flash.  They worked for over an hour gathering all the snow from front and back lawns, and the neighbors to make this cute little snowkid.

Hooray for even a little snow!! We turned it to mud pretty quick here! Your kids are so sweet-- give them hugs and kisses from me.

I think that we technically have ice, not snow. But it looks good. Merry Christmas.
