Afton is such a sweet yet funny child. We started Sunday off by speaking at two retirement centers. Afton walked around to each senior citizen looked into their face, took their hands, shook it and said "hi!" She made alot of grandmas and grandpas smile. She is so sweet.
After that we went to our sacrament meeting, it was our primary program. Well, due to the fact Afton had already endured two meeting she was a bit tuckered. To get her to listen Abby told her that all of the kids would be singing, this caught Afton's attention - she loves to sing. So the primary took their seats in front of the congregation and as they began their program Afton yelled out from the audience "TWINKLE!" Apparently Afton thought you could make requests and she was demanding Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Of course her request went unfulfilled, so as the primary began to sing their next song Afton yelled out "TWINKLE!" Our "uncaring" primary again failed to fulfill this request. While Afton wasn't to happy about the primary's failure, our friends who were sitting behind us had a good laugh. Our child is so funny. TWINKLE!

Love my Bug!
Hey-- tell Afton I am the chorister here so I have the POWER and if she wants TWINKLE she can have TWINKLE--just make sure you come on November 11. I don't see anything sacrilegious about singing TWINKLE in Sacrament Meeting......
That is so cute--- that used to be Sam's favorite song. We can jam to Twinkle when you come for Turkey Day.
Tell Sammy to be prepared to sing twinkle twinkle little star this turkey day...
Too funny!
Ahh, there are not many things better than the little gems you get from kids during sacrament meeting. And why shouldn't we be able to make requests? The organists and pianists should be kept on their toes (or pedals as it were.)
I love it. She is soo cute
Too fun! Yeah for twinkle and yeah for blogs!
