Lotsa lotsa

The year of 2008 has started out at a mad dash. The amount of life changing events that have and are happening this month already take my breath away!
First, my Grandma's funeral: it was lovely and full of faith. I love her!!!!!
Next Jared got the big news that he got a new job in Boise! He'll be working for the City of Boise. This is a long awaited job change and means that the snowball effect has started. We are now planning our big move to Boise! Staying in Idaho makes it more simple, but the truth is that we have a ton to do in the next few weeks. He'll be starting the end of February. Our house in Burley is now on the market and we really hope to be able to sell it to a good family that will add to our awesome neighborhood. In the meantime we are searching like mad for a great home to move into in the Boise area where we'll have room to expand (since baby #2 is only 5 months away), an easy commute, and an affordable mortgage (hmmmm). Whew!
We are very excited for this big move but sad to leave our home and friends here. We have felt welcome from the day we moved in.
I admit I get giddy to be in a bigger city with more options. Even if it means being farther away from family and starting over (again) I am looking forward to it.
Next week we have our ultrasound to find out the baby's gender!!! This is hands down that best part of pregnancy for me. I love seeing the little baby squirming around and then the big reveal! We are totally happy with either gender, we just wanna know!

On top of all these self-absorbed ramblings, both of our families are going through some big changes themselves. We're excited for a missionary to come home, some possible wedding bells this year (????), cool traveling opportunities, more babies, moving, school and job changes, etc. Just when life was starting to feel predictable!

I keep telling myself "change is good, change is good" when I get stressed. I'm just glad I have Jared to calm me down and tell me he loves me because I need it!!!!

Everything likes to happen at once, doesn't it? Right before we moved here we had a ton of stuff happen, too!! It is like the downhill slope on the roller--coaster. Now you have me super curious, though-- wedding bells?? Who? and I probably shouldn't be so nosey in a public place. That is cool. We are really excited for you guys in all that is going on. Can we know what you are having or is it going to be a secret-- because let me just tell you..... I HATE SECRETS!!!!!!!!! anyway--- have fun!!

We will tell everyone the gender - just watch the blogs. The wedding bells are referring to Abby's sisters, no announcements yet -

I'm so excited to hear what you guys will be having. Do you have a hunch one way or another?

It's great that you guys were able to sell your house so quickly. Good luck with the move.

Congratulations Jared!

No, the house hasn't sold yet. I WISH!!!! We've shown it to a few people, but no offers yet. Hopefully soon.

"Change is good, change is always good." What a crock of crap! It really is a lie. But... I wish you the best of course. We will miss you.

Nothing is as constant as change. Truism. Difficult but true, anyway. Our prayers are with you all constantly.
