This kid cracks us up. So the other night Afton and I are doing her nightly routine - a nuk and a book (nuk is the brand of binki). The routine is that Afton gets a nuk and we read her a book - big surprise given the name. As I am reading the kid a book I looked down to turn the page, and when I looked back this is what I saw. She waited until I wasn't looking then stuffed two nuks in her mouth to try and make me laugh. Well, it worked. This kid is silly, a real goof ball and she loves to make us laugh.
She is also into hide and seek. We take turns hiding and seeking, and sometimes we hide Weber, her stuffed dog and look for him. She can be amazingly patient, quiet, and motionless. Pretty impressive given that she loves to run and spin in circles, while pounding her chest and screaming like a gorilla. One of her favorite places to hide is on our bed, under a blanket. Can you see her? We usually can't...
Afton's little brother is in for a fun time, we can't wait to have two of these little goofy kids running around. Oh, I bought the boy his first football, it's a football rattle.

I'm going to miss my little Afton so much! Just today when I saw you two walking down the street, I got so sad thinking about the fact that you guys wouldn't be there at the end of this month! She is just adorable- Definitely one of the cutest little kiddos!
Holy Moly she looks so much older! She is so hilarious-- a real jokster (probably gets it from her crazy dad???) I love the look in her eyes on that top picture! So cute.
What a cutie! I can't wait till you move to Boise, it will be fun to have your family visit us both in Weiser and in McCall. Sorry I did not return your phone calls, I was out of town for 2 weeks. But I'm home now so call me and let me know what kind of help you need while you move in...like baby-sitting? Layla and I will come and take Afton off your hands for awhile. We'll go to "Cabela's" and look at all the animals...hey it is better than the Zoo and it's free!
Actually, we may just take you up on that offer. We went to a sporting goods store - not cabellas - over christmas and they had tons of animals and Afton went nuts she was so excited. See ya soon.
