Whew! We finally made it! Last night we moved in the last boxes and returned the huge U-Haul so we are here. Boise! Afton seems to be taking it pretty well. She's tired and crabby, but I think that's from the bronchitis, not totally from moving.
The blessings have been pouring in because we got sooooooo much help from our neighbors and friends and Jared's Dad. All that packing of boxes and hauling of furniture, plus the cleaning and food, etc. Thanks to everyone!
Arriving in Boise was a bit of a reality check. We're in a small apartment that smells like smoke. Doh! That is the hard part because we loved our house and neighborhood and friends in Burley so much. It is hard to leave such a sweet situation and come to one that feels like backtracking. We just tell ourselves that it's temporary and that it will get better!
One good thing already is that I found out I can "borrow" someone's wireless network on the laptop so I won't be cut off from all outside contact. Wahoo! It's the little things that make me happy. :)
I'll post pictures when I can.

Good job you guys! Go team!
I'm sure you will meet people and learn to love Boise! Smokey apartments are the worst but I bet it will wear off in a few days.
Welcome!! I feel bad that I haven't even seen you yet. Let me take Afton so that you can get some unpacking done. Do you think she'd come to our house? I'll call you today and see what I can do. I'm excited that you're here and I'm so sorry about the smoke - that would be sooooo frustrating. Hopefully you'll find your home soon.
What do you think Abby, is the smoke worse than the curry closet we had at Turnberry?
At least sometimes curry can smell good, whereas smoke is always gross to me. I guess the curry permeated more though because they cooked every single meal with it! The smoke should wear off, I hope!
You guys are there!?! Where have I been, and did this past month really go by? I hope that you guys start to feel settled soon. Are you near a Target? (That ALWAYS helps!!;)
I am glad that you made it safely, and I am sorry that you are that much farther away. Hurray for the new job though, and hurray for the prospective new house. You guys will do well in Boise.
Huzzah the move is successful, many good wishes and prayers in your behalf. I pray that you will find a new house soon, and sell your house in burley. I sure love you guys, please let me know if there is anything i can do.
We love love love you guys and want to come visit soon!!
