I love my little family. There is something so relaxing about a weekend that you can just hang out and spend time together without having to run from one thing to the next. Afton and Jared get along like peas in a pod and just love being together. I am content getting kicked by the boy and watching them run around. Here they are on the swing together:

Boise River
It has been super spring-like and warm here for the past two days. We have tried to take advantage of the great weather and spend some relaxing and fun days outside together. We live really close to the Boise River so today we took a stroll before church. I like going to the river because Afton calls it the "Boise Rivert!" (yes with the t on the end) with such energy and passion that I feel like we are really living the dream by going there. I pretty much take my cues on what is worth getting excited over in life by her lately. This picture is from our walk the other day when it was still cool. But it captures her passion for the place.

Great pictures! I love the new blog look, too. I can't wait to someday come see you guys and play near the Boise Rivert!!!
Thanks for the comment! I love hearing from you guys.. I love that picture of Afton, I can't believe how fast she is growing up! Miss you so much!
I think I love the river pose the most! The time in one's life that one can squat like that...balancing by sticking the diaper out back...is just too fun (and short). What great parents you are to take advantage of what you've got right now! How wonderful it is to hear you enjoy these all-too-precious moments. You are very loved!
