As if I don't brag about her enough, here are a few of the things she does that make me smile:When I go to get her out of bed in the morning, she usually greets me with a smile and a happy exclamation while pointing outside that the "Sunshine Awake!"
She loves to sing any song but especially the Rainbow Song (red and yellow and pink and green...) and I'm So Glad When Daddy Comes Home.
When we ask her how old she is going to be she tells us seriously "Twooo" and holds up two of her chubby fingers. This is a trick she's been working on for a few weeks because those other pesky fingers like to pop up too.
Any time a camera is pointed her way she flashes a super cheesey smile.
The girl can kick a soccer ball like nobody's business. Dribbling? She's a pro.
To show how happy she is, she feels the need to "Run Fast!" so she'll race back and forth across the apartment while laughing her head off.
Speaking of her laugh, it is this contagious, genuine, belly laugh that is pure joy to my ears.
She is always looking out for her Daddy. She'll put her hand on his shoulder at dinner and look in his eyes and ask in this little concerned way, "Daddy, food good?" Then she'll make sure he's eating his vegetables.
Sometimes she knows I need some love so she'll come up to me and give me a hug and a kiss.
Afton loves to swing at the park, go on the slides on her tummy, and just play outside whenever and wherever.
I could go on, and on. But I think I'll just go give her a hug and build a daddy chair out of mega blocks with her. I feel so blessed to be able to be her mom and spend my days being with her. She is the smartest, cutest, best, and most precious little girl I have ever known and I love her! Happy Birthday munchkin!

Abby tells it well. Afton is a blast to be with. When we go on walks to likes to pick up pine cones (cine pones as she calls them) and stick them in my pockets - "Daddy, pocket."

She is an adorable little gal! Happy Birthday! This is such a fun age! I don't really believe in the "terrible twos"...At our house it waits a year, and we call it the "trying threes".
Oh!! Happy Birthday Afton!! I didn't know exactly when her birthday was... but I do know that someone else is about to have a birthday here at the end of the month!! =)

We love our Idaho Spud the best!! The two years she's been here are better than we could hope for. She is a joy from her toes to her static hair!! We love this Granddaughter of ours!

Happy Birthday Afton! 2 already! Rylee still misses her dearly, every Sunday before going to church she gets so excited to "play with Afon in nursery!" but I have to remind her that Afton moved away. We miss you guys, hope you had a fun day!
