We took a last minute trip to SLC last week and had a great time having Grandpa Wayne all to ourselves. I got to hang out with my dad like I haven't been able to do for over ten years. The kids got to read a gazillion books with him and get all the attention. They ate it up! I think my dad liked it too.

We just hit our two year mark for moving to Boise! The time has gone by quickly and a lot has changed in our family since moving here. We sure love where we live, our neighbors and friends, our ward. As Afton's third city, she thinks it is the best. Ben is totally loyal. Jared and I are very content where we are and feel super blessed. This year I've started a side job and it has made me feel like I'm kind of on a sprint every day. It is fun and challenging, but I am definitely still getting used to it all. Boise is also really mild this time of year and we already have buds on the trees and bulbs popping up. I'm very excited for spring!

So nice that you live close enough to just have spontaneous visits to see your dad. I hope he's doing well. I wish it had been a little later in the month, when we are going so I could have seen you again. How's the job going?
