Story of the 4th - 2nd Annual Edition

We meet our little family again for their 4th of July adventures. This year the family was a little older and a little wiser. Instead of getting eaten by mosquitoes like the year before, the family decided to head to the mountains in Utah where the sun is always shining and Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins have their arms open wide to welcome a visit.
The little family started out late one evening in the family van to drive the many hours to Orem. Once there they were put up in luxurious accommodations with free meals and 'round the clock entertainment. Right away the two little kids made themselves at home. The little girl felt spoiled by having her grandparents to ooh and ahh over her many accomplishments. She was brilliant, afterall. The clever little boy loved the box full of toy cars and dinosaurs to play with. His imagination went wild!
After hiking, swimming, eating yummy food, and playing with cousins, both kids were thoroughly happy! The Mom and Dad were happy too, and tired.
But their adventures didn't end there!
The little family headed for a 4th of July tradition in the little town of Oakley. The rodeo! With many a "Yeehaw" and lots of candy, the little kids stayed up way past their bedtime and enjoyed every minute of the cowboy action. The little boy pointed out every single horse, cow, and cowboy with fervor. The little girl danced in the aisle to country music and fell in love with the fireworks show. A good time was had by all!
The next couple of days were spent in a lovely cabin with more cousins, aunts, uncles, and a grandpa. The family felt like they couldn't have been more spoiled with all the love and fun that filled every minute of the trip! With all that fun, the little family had some new-found allergies, a couple of fevers, a lot of dirty clothes, and some bumps and scrapes. But it was all worth it to spend time with family! As the vacation came to an end, they loaded up their car and reluctantly headed home from a lovely trip. What fun! THE END.

Yeah... I realized after I typed that comment that it had to have been Oakley, Utah... not Idaho!
