We went out for the annual city ice skating day and had a great time. Well Jared and the kids had a great time. I sat on the side and didn't skate because I just don't really trust my balance lately and wouldn't want to take a tumble. So while I was bored on the sideline, the others had a blast!
Ben was very serious about skating and just kept a straight intense face the whole time as he got the hang of it. Afton was determined to be great and she picked up on it quickly (a HUGE change from last year when she thought she had jell-o for legs on the ice). Jared and I figure if we get her in lessons now, we won't be too behind on getting her in the Olympics by the time she's 14. ha ha.

I tried that once when SO and LL were the exact same ages. I have never done that again! You guys are much nicer parents:)
Yes, the hard part is going again. Good for you guys. The kids look great on skates.

That is cute! I have not ventured out on the ice with my boys yet...I am too scared!!
