Happy 3rd Birthday Ben!

Today we get to celebrate Ben turning 3!

Ben is so good at making us laugh. He loves to tell stories about super heroes and can play with cars for hours on end in his little make-believe world. I love how he gives a little cartoon-ish kick before he sets off to run and while running as fast as he can has an intense furrowed brow and pumps his arms. Ben loves to wear his "flag shirt" and his "basketball shorts" as you can tell from almost every picture on this blog for the past year. His hair is a piece of art... sticking up in all directions no matter how much gel we put on it to matte it down. Ben's blue eyes have a little sparkle to them when he is about to do something mischievous. And he loves to cuddle when he's about to go to bed. Ben can be very polite and always says "thanks for dinner Mom", even if he doesn't eat it.

We're so happy to celebrate our little man coming into our lives. Although he's having a pretty hard time transitioning to our bigger family, Ben is a source of joy for us. We are excited to see what this next year brings as he gets to start preschool and venture out with some of his friends more. Happy Birthday Bubba!
