We did a lot of playing outside, wrestling, reading books, creating imaginary worlds, eating yummy food, and more. He took us all to the zoo where we got to see a really cool butterfly exhibit. That was my favorite part. The butterflies sure seemed happy amongst the flowers as opposed to the monkeys that seemed totally depressed in their boring little cages. We also got to go to the park and let the kids run around in the water.
Grandpa Wayne was a smash hit with Afton and Ben because he paid total attention to them. Ben loved saying his name and it was Grandpa Wayne this and Grandpa Wayne that every second. Cade loved being snuggled by his grandpa and took some very satisfying naps on his chest.
Thanks Dad for coming to visit! We loved every minute you were here and miss you already!
