February Escape

Sometimes I just need to get out of town in late February. Actually, I ALWAYS need to get out of town in late February. Surprise of all surprises, we went to Utah. Yes we go there for 90% of our get-out-of-town trips. It's good.
I don't think much could have kept me away because I wanted to meet my newest nephew (son of my sister) while he was still tiny and new. Hooray!
I fell straightaway in love with him and got my newborn fix... a very good thing to encourage me along this last trimester.
Since I forgot our camera, here are some phone pictures of our first meeting:
By the way, I didn't dye my hair. I just cut off all the remnants of what used to be blonde. -sigh- Afton was great with the little baby. She's very excited for one of our own too.

We also got to be spoiled by family. It is worth that long drive to have a break from making all meals, cleaning all areas, entertaining at all hours, etc. So nice!
The kids had a blast at the dinosaur museum.
We reenacted that funny VW mini-vader commercial. :)
And we even taught Ben to answer phones at his Aunt's office. He's a natural.Goodbye February.
