Preschool, the Fair, etc

Ben started preschool this year! He was very excited to go and do something on his very own. Ben is a confident little guy who doesn't get nervous in new situations very often. Since his big sister was going to be in school, we knew we'd have to get him into something to keep him occupied. On his first day he walked into the school room and didn't look back. When I went to pick him up, he cried because he didn't want to leave. Needless to say, he loves it!

We took the kids to the county fair this year. They loved petting the animals and checking out all the sights. (Yes, this poor cow has horns as big as my kids bodies. It was freaky, really, and I'm not sure how it supports it's head.)

Their mouths literally dropped open when they saw the fair rides. We haven't done anything like that with them yet so it was a first. It was funny to watch them gawk in awe at the size and craziness of the rides. Maybe next year we'll be nice enough parents to actually take them on one. ;)

In other news, Cade is strong enough to sit in the bumbo. This thing gives me endless joy. I can't quite describe why it is so funny to see a little baby sitting up in it, but it just makes me smile.
